DYING TO MAKE HISTORY
Historical
museum assistant curator Casey O’Hara has a passion for preserving history
and a penchant for finding trouble. After her nineteen-year marriage collapses,
Casey heads back to college, dismayed to find herself amidst
classmates half her age with a professor who was the subject of her high school
fantasies. Still, Casey’s convinced she can handle the drama in her life until she
stumbles across a murdered corpse in the town cemetery—an unburied one.
Things heat up when Casey’s relationship with her professor becomes romantic and
her aimless older brother becomes the prime suspect in an antiques dealer’s murder.
She is determined to prove his innocence by finding the real killer.
But when the historical society receives
an eighteenth-century letter that rewrites the town’s history with
a tale of scandal and murder, Casey connects the two murders, committed
three centuries apart and realizes she’s in danger of becoming history
herself.
Read an Excerpt of DYING TO MAKE HISTORY, for which I am
currently seeking representation.
